At His and Hers Boot Camp NY, we believe that stretching is not just important for fitness, but also for everyday life. Regular stretching can help alleviate tightness and improve circulation, leading to better overall health. Check out our list of recommended stretches for different parts of the body, and feel free to incorporate them into your daily routine. We're committed to helping you achieve optimal health and wellness, both inside and outside of our boot camp classes!

Forward Fold

As simple as it looks, the forward fold is one of the easiest stretches you can perform.

Helps with lower back and hamstring tightness.

Child's Pose

Remember when life was simpler as a child? Sit back and relax.

Helps with back and hip tightness.

Seated Forward Fold

A variation of the forward fold with the same benefits. Remove gravity and reach!

Helps with lower back tightness.

Split with Side Reach

Our bodies can move in many different ways. You'd be surprised at what actually connects with each other.

Helps with lower back, oblique, lats, hamstring, glute and hip tightness.

The most under-rated stretch that helps with everything.

We meant the everything part.

Squat

Squats can be performed in many different ways for many different reasons. As a stretch, it can work wonders.

Helps with  back, hip and groin tightness.

Lizard Pose

The mascot pose of HHBCNY. This stretch, along with its variations, is one of the most effective tension releasing stretches one can perform.

Helps with hip, back, hamstring and groin tightness.

Foam Rolling

Imagine you could give yourself a deep tissue massage. Well, here you go! If you are not a fan of cellulite, you cannot go wrong with 

Helps with everything. Literally.

Lunge and Pull

Our quads do A LOT of work and our hip flexors? Do NOT forget about those.

Helps with feeling like a human being again.

Knee Tuck

Tuck your knee into your armpit. If you can keep your shoulders on the ground, you're in great shape.

Helps with hamstring, glute, groin, hip and lower back tightness.

Frog Pose

This pose can be humbling, but if the center of your body feels to stiff, this is what you need to do.

Helps with hip, groin, lower back and glute tightness.
